 When life is unsettled Evelyn turns baby again.

But if anyone calls her a baby (and she's comfortable enough to answer) her response is "I not baby, I am Eve-eh-lin".

The sailboat

 Many hours were put into this boat, and other than a bit of help shaping the underside, and drilling the holes for the masts, all the work was done by Nathan.

Imaginations flying high

Ten!

 Nathan's birthday blew by.

 We enjoyed watching him enjoy the day.

 As per tradition, he asked for a treasure hunt. 

 There was no shortage of hiding places, and lots of exercise was done!

Nathan is a great kid.  He is getting very mature, and is no little kid anymore!  He steps in when needed, pesters when not needed.  Thoughtful, a builder, and a lot of fun.

Animals

 We went off to the zoo once again, for a great school rate of $8 each. :)  Highly recommended. ;)  Especially if you don't have to hang out with the school group and can leave when you like.

The skunk was in our own backyard.  Apparently they eat skunk in Africa.  Wonder what it's like...

Unusual moment

I came outside after working hard and I found all of my children quietly chilling outside in the glorious sunshine.  (Nobody touching anything they shouldn't, nobody fighting!)
A moment I want to cherish. :)
