Sunday Lunch
Daniel and Jennifer are often too tired on Sundays after church to have a decent lunch before napping. So here they are having "a little something".
Much ado about a busted thumb
Her healthy thumb has been sorely missed!
As thought by a kid
Stuck in the grass! Now what, Mom?
Yay, on the road again!
I'm a motorbike. Vrooooooom. I wonder if I can ride on the road later when Mom is busy!
I wonder how handsome I look on the camera!
Stuck again! I wish this thing would steer better!
I'm glad Jennifer ran into the cupboard, now I don't have to worry about her smashing my toes while I'm busy here.
Just a couple more glasses, and then I can go play!
Is Mom still there with the camera? Yup, she is.
How do I get this diaper off my baby again?
I must look so cute in my sparkly new shirt.
If Mom would go away with that camera, I could remember what I was just going to do.

Patriotic
Nathan made some for Daniel too, but Jennifer was left all alone sucking her thumb. After all, she'd just destroy it anyways!

More farm
The farm we visited had a "commercialized" fun area, so we paid the bill, and went and had some fun after our hard work of picking and eating strawberries. We went before school was out midweek, and when the weather was not too hot, so it worked out great. Not sure it'd be worth going to again, but it was fun to explore.

U-pick strawberries
The kids did a great job picking berries (and not eating them-'cause I warned them that was stealing!) considering they'd never done this before. They're going to ask me every year now. :p
Daniel thought every berry was red, so he needed a bit of guidance. And he really wanted to eat them, and he only managed to sink his desperate teeth into one, for the rest he exercised remarkable self control. I was amazed!
With all the help we had four buckets full in half an hour.
Nathan thought we should bring our sand-toy buckets, and he eagerly washed the sand out first.
Jennifer didn't offer any help, but she was eagerly looking forward to pigging out on them once we paid for them.
Then she excelled.
