A three panel windstorm

We built a "portable" fence around the pool-we still don't know if it will be a useable pool, or if it is toast-so we didn't want to invest too much in it, but still make a barrier between it and the little ones.

As you can see we have had a bit of trouble with it when it is windy.  We've strengthened these ones-but since then haven't had such strong wind, so we don't know for sure if it's good enough. ;)

And just when we got it this far our insurance company called and said "You need to have a fence around the pool according to bi-laws, you need your roof done, you need... (x4) done ...in 90 days.  We're sending a letter with the specs."  We were pretty upset for various reasons...but when the letter arrived, it turns out they were only "recommendations" with no follow up and no 90 day timeline.  Phew!  Meantime, the bi-laws we didn't think were relevant here appeared to be dug in the ground fence, a few inches taller, of different material etc.  As far as we can tell, these are more recent laws, and in the past 5 years or so irrelevant to country homes.  Sigh.
