Mar 2024, last part

This camper has a lot of miles on it! We were so happy that it made it all the way to our our driveway! Spring break was really fun this year! It was really special to be able to show our family around so they could see what our life in Ontario is like...or at least to get an idea.

When we weren't travelling to see epic Ontario sights, we were just chilling together at home. It was a real treat to chill with cousins. My kids just loved it. So did I!

I can't remember how long it took Daniel to get the ice rink together last fall. But with Uncle Glen telling everyone what to do, it was taken apart and put away in just a few hours. That helped make up for the fact that it was only used for 8 days all winter. Hopefully.

He also helped Melanie find a used car. There is just too much selection out here, and we are not as mechanically inclined as he is. She was super happy to have her own wheels!

Puzzling together.
Building together.
Driving the camper to Niagara Falls and finding parking during the off season was a big enough job, so when we decided to have a day downtown Toronto, we opted for using the Go train instead.
The train ride itself is already a fun adventure.
Thankfully both Philip and Nathan could help us navigate through Union Station.
Our destination was the CN Tower. It was not cheap to go there...so we made sure to stay up for a very long time.
Enjoying some snacks at the top of Ontario. I think that for a family that often spends time in the mountain tops, the view wasn't really extra ordinary. But it was certainly a different view than they were used to!
It was a first time for all the kids to go up the CN Tower. We've only ever viewed it from the bottom before, on account of the steep price. :p
And to make it a full city experience, we also tried out an escape room. It was a tricky one, and we made it out with seconds to spare. It was a lot of fun!
We also enjoyed a dinner with Steve's family. It was lovely to all be together for a dinner.
18 cousins!
We did our best to catch up as much as possible.
So did the kids.

Glen's family also got to experience a potluck dinner with us too.
They are monthly tradition at our church.
It was no small thing to travel so far with the whole family. We appreciated it!

Also this year Jennifer joined in a home ec class with a school group and other homeschoolers. In March Jennifer got to participate in serving a High Tea. She invited our neighbour to join in. It was very well done.
