Finally Evelyn joined the rest of the family with glasses wearing.

She also has some scarier disguises.
She does some school work once in a while too. She's not too keen on math, but she does get through it.
Melanie likes to come down for coffee regularly. Hopefully it stimulates her brain a bit.And wonder of wonders, just in time for my birthday, I get a new van!! We upgraded to a newer Sienna (so we wouldn't have to car shop in a few years again, hopefully) and we downgraded to 7 seats, since Philip prefers driving plywood around easily over having lots of passengers. He obviously has the wrong priorities. I can't believe I let him have a say in what I found. Just because it was he paid the extra to upgrade to a newer one. Doesn't seem fair. He doesn't even regret it, because on some Sundays between services we have to say "sorry, we don't have room for you" to some bonus children who want to come over, and it ends up being quieter because of it.
Matthew working on a technical project. In time for my birthday, my boot rack is finished! It's great getting gifts for two occasions when they take a while to be completed!

Speaking of gifts promised a long time ago, the coat rack was made by Daniel and long forgotten. Nobody can even remember when he first had the idea. But now it is done, and I can enjoy it...if it doesn't get damaged first, that is! Jut because it looks like a bazooka to you doesn't mean you can horse around with my coat rack!
We have been busy on Sundays, once a month, with a Missional Home Group. Basically, we spend some time in Bible study and prayer, as well as having some food and fellowship...usually with newer visitors to our church who might be interested in becoming members, or who are already studying to be members. We always have a wonderful time together building each other up in the Christian faith and walk. All the good food is great too. So much selection! We also did some school work in March. We heard that family was coming to visit, so we worked hard ahead of time...it was really motivating!
