One is fun!

 It's especially fun if you can walk!  Evelyn got royally pampered for her birthday, since she had Opa and Oma to give her attention and gifts, a local "grandparent" who also came by, and so many siblings to giver her gifts and attention.  Melanie gave her a homemade rattle and Daniel wrapped up some of his old toys for her.  (Notice how much she wrinkles her nose!)

Melanie likes to show off her piano "skills", so I got a video of her with bad background sounds, when she was unawares, so she'd be unaware of her audience.

Boys busy.  Nathan is trying to figure out how to weave a bracelet, and he couldn't figure out where he was going wrong.  (Did you read ALL the instructions??)

Daniel very carefully matched up magnet letters (and numbers) and lined them all up.

Matthew is teasing Evelyn by sending the letters far away for her to get.  She is still pretty wobbly walking, and he is enjoying getting her to go farther and farther!

 Evelyn has a shy smile, where she tips her chin down to her chest when she smiles.  She's getting less self conscious now, but had done it a tonne around her birthday.

 Goofball!  Evelyn is a stinker!  She stands up in the tub, and I say "sit down" and help her down (because she doesn't listen very quickly :o ) and we do this 7 or more times.  Then she stands up, looks at me and says "dow!"

 "Mommy, what would happen if you put this...."

 Evelyn was so tuckered out at lunch she silently fell asleep in her chair sucking on her fingers 'cause she was too tired to complain and ask for her soother!
