Matthew is 6 already!
Weekend birthdays mean that family present opening happens shortly after breakfast instead of waiting until after dinner!
Handmade cards made with love
And explained in detail.
Gifts delivered with great enthusiasm!
Hmmm...not exactly what I'd expected, but close enough...
"Yay!"
(Why don't I get anything?)
The party guest (limited to one for my sanity, and for better bonding of friends) helped Matthew with his treasure hunt.
We found the first clue! It was easy peasy!
Jackpot!
"Woah! That stuff was wierd!"
Now for informal fun of playing outside and nothing to do but play whatever the imagination comes up with!
Matthew didn't care much about us singing happy birthday, but was thrilled with the cool straws I'd picked up. A dollar that was well appreciated!
I'm sure the juice tasted much better for going round and round up the straw first!
sibling party goers:
And present opening time! (I like that with one guest there isn't stacks and stacks of stuff to go through, but just one to be appreciated.)
Lego!
Matthew's requested party game went well, although it lasted a total of five minutes.
Finger paints! (Which he wanted for almost two years now!)
