Summer slips by

 Nathan and Brian's lego castle

Ear infection # 2.

I've been told Evelyn looks just like Philip.  But I think Evelyn and I look the same! ;)

 More lego time.

Homemade birthday cards are the best!

Baby and bunny and Jennifer make a lovely threesome.  Plus thumb makes four fabulous friends! ;)

Very cute sister time!  Jennifer still loves Evelyn. :)

 Melanie and Matthew's lego castle.

On a hot day the sandbox is shady-so it's safe to play in!
These three were all making castles.  As part of their house game.  Melanie was the teacher.

Nathan and Jennifer were busy-Jennifer towing the wagon that Nathan hooked up.
Oh no!  A big patch of thistles!
Jennifer puts up her bare feet and squeals.
Nathan unhitches the wagon, tows it alongside...
and rescues the damsel in distress!
What a knight in shining armour!

Here's me trying out the swing.  It's nice as long as you don't swing out into the hot sunshine!
"This is how I make my \castle Matthew..."

 A snoozing bundle of sweetness!

 Ready for another nap?
Evelyn enjoys playing with toys now!  But it's hard to concentrate on it with noisy siblings around-she often drops a toy when distracted.  So tying them on keeps them around longer!

 Silly boy!

 Silly girl!

Serious boy.

'Nother silly boy.

 "Dey-eh!" (There is Mommy's baby!)
 "Dey-eh!" (There is my baby.)
)
(I take good care of my baby.)

'Nother virus.  (Flu #4 this year?)
 Viral rash!
We thought Daniel might be having a reaction to his penicillin for his ear infection-but thankfully, it appeared to only be a rash from the flu he was harbouring!

Evelyn is not fussy at all, but I decided she had spent too many hours in her chair-
so I cuddled and worked at the same time!  She's growing so fast!!  :(  :)

It is nice getting extra cuddle time with Daniel. :)  (Though I wish he wasn't sick!  Poor guy!)

What a fabulous view from the Bumbo!  So much action to keep Evelyn entertained!

We've seen the doctor a LOT lately.  (Before this year it'd been once a year plus extra to keep on track for immunization.)  This year, thankfully our visits were usually not for many serious things.  One of the things Jennifer was in for was to get liquid nitrogen on her planter wart.  She figures Evelyn needs some TLC too:
 Refill her q-tip with more....
Scrape off some of the dead skin:

The kids helped make some of the decorations for Martine's bridal shower.  My guys mostly did the check hearts, and few other ones.

Such a cute baby can make even an ugly green chair seem adorable! :)
(OK, I'm done in here now Mommy.)
