That a gudd idea!
I need to go pee too! I want to sit on my potty Mommy!

(He can at least pretend to be a big kid.)

Told with big gestures:
Daddy, I had a dream too! Mommy was walking with Daniel. Mommy fell down like that. And she fell down! And her baby fell down too! Like that! Mommy dropped her baby!

I want juice Mommy.
I want juice.
I want more juice Mommy.
Where did Daniel go, Mommy?
"Downstairs." says I.
Maybe Daniel in bed?
(He goes to check.)
No. Nathan, is Daniel playing downstairs?
(I guess Nathan is a more accurate source of information than me. :p )

Me too, 'cause you have to make me have work.
Another eager volunteer, is my girl Melanie.

She plays hard and works hard too!
After all, she has three brothers to keep in line.
What will happen if I push these buttons, Mom?

Mommy, I dreamed about two houses and they were built on top of a person and a car.
Mom can I do v's v's and b's b's and all the numbers? (That is, type on the computer)
Someday I can do it.

Mommy, I'm going to tell (the babysitter) that my birthday is coming up soon.

Thorn in the shoulder
Mom, I know what God means when he wants us to not grumble.

It's like when Paul had a thorn stuck in his shoulder and he asked God to take it out and God said no, so Paul had to keep it.
I feel almost overcome with gratitude
for Nathan.

He can be insightful.
He can be so thoughtful.
He can be such a helper.
This week, I have been continually amazed by the number and enthusiasm of voluntary offers for help that he has given, as well as willingness to carry out my instructions.

Time for ME to stop complaining about my losses and enjoy some of the countless blessings I experience!

My Friend
These tears I cry for you,
These prayers I pray for you,

As left behind
I watch you
getting smaller
in the distance.
It begins to rain
and the teardrops
and raindrops
sweep you farther away.
My eyes see you no longer
But in my heart,

there you are
Grieving, as I am.
Through this pain
We trust and we pray;
God is guiding this flood
He is causing this rain

And only He knows when we
shall see each other again.
These prayers I pray for you,
As left behind
I watch you
getting smaller
in the distance.

But in my heart,
